About the data & sources

Nationality: Hong Kong. Registrations are not employment counts. BN(O) registrations recorded as “unknown” are excluded.

Years run from April to March. For simplicity, this map and the CSV treat source values “..” (nil or negligible) as 0. This is a presentation assumption, not confirmation of an exact zero. CSV flags identify affected authorities.

The extract’s published total is 53,794. Authority cells may not sum to this because of disclosure protection. Addresses are those at registration.

Source: supplied DWP Stat-Xplore extract. Dataset information.

ONS May 2023 boundaries: official 20-metre generalised geometry, with no further simplification. These boundaries match the extract’s authority names. Contains OS and ONS intellectual property rights.
